What are the requirements to become a Deliveroo rider?


– At least 18 years old and above
– A Singaporean or Permanent Resident
– A smartphone – iPhone (IOS 10 & above) or Android (5.0 & above)
– A motorbike (with a valid class licence); or bicycle / e-scooter, compliant with Singapore Legal requirement

 

If you’re holding a work permit or serving National Service, you will not be eligible to sign-up as a rider with Deliveroo

 

What is the application process?


The entire application process is completely done online, you do not need to come down in person. Sign up here.

Ongoing Application

I’ve submitted my documents, how long does it take for it to be approved?


Approvals are done by batches on a weekly basis. You will receive an SMS and Email once we’ve processed your documents, or you may check back the Rider Application Hub for status.

It has been more than 3 days, why are my documents still pending to be processed?


Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an expected date as to when your document will be approved. You will receive an SMS once your documents have been processed.

How do I change my vehicle type in the application?

We are unable to change your vehicle type in the middle of your application process. You would need to restart the entire application and choose the correct vehicle type. Please complete this form to have your application removed. You may reapply at www.deliveroo.com.sg/apply after 3 to 5 working days.

How do I withdraw from my application?

We are really sad to see you go. If you wish to withdraw your application, please complete this Withdrawal Form. We will proceed to withdraw your application within the next 3 to 5 working days.

Equipment Order & Delivery Information

What is Rider Kit? How can I get one?

We will provide you with the correct safety equipment get you started on the road and is it delivered right to your doorstep. At the end of the application process, you will be led to our web store to purchase the required items.

If you’ve applied as a Motorcyclist, your kit will include:

– A reflective Scooter jacket
– Cube backpack
– Small thermal bag
– Halal food only thermal bag

If you’ve applied as a Cyclist/E-Scooter, your kit will include:

– Cycle jacket
– Roll top backpack
– Small thermal bag
– Halal thermal bag
– Bicycle phone mount
– Helmet

 

How much do I have to pay for the kit?

The current promotional price of the kit bundle is $50 (the original price is $100). Additionally, we are also currently running an activation campaign with incentives. Complete 50 orders within 50 days after your rider account are created and get $50. All campaigns and kit prices run on a promotional basis only.

I was not available to receive the parcel. Who can I contact to arrange for a redelivery?

I have received the wrong item. How can I request for an exchange?

We are sorry that you have received the wrong item. Please submit the details to this form, so we can arrange it for you further.

I have waited for more than 3 working days. When can I expect my parcel to be delivered?

You should have received a tracking number sent to you, track the status of your delivery here https://app.qourier.com/track. If you need further assistance, call 65087863/ 65087865 to arrange re-delivery

Rider App and Self Service Booking (SSB)

How can I download Deliveroo Rider App?

Deliveroo rider app is now available in both App store and Google Play store. You will only be able to login to the rider app once you have completed your application process.

 

I have not received my kit, can I still book a slot?

Usually, your kit will be delivered to you within 5 working days, you can secure your preferred slot by booking in advance while waiting for your kit.

What are my log-in details?

1. Launch the app
2. Key in your registered mobile number
3. Enter the seucrity code which will be sent to your number

And you are all set to book a slot!

Remember: You won’t be able to log in to the app until all checks are complete – we’ll send you an email when this is done.

I’ve already received my kit, how can I start delivering orders?

Launch the rider app and simply book any available slots in the planner, and you’re all set to make your first delivery! Ride safe!

What is SSB and how to book a slot?

Self-serve booking allows you to choose to book sessions in advance or, where more riders are needed, which gives you the freedom to fit work around your life.

1. Log-in to your app
2. On the top of your screen select the zone you are interested in
3. Click on planner at the bottom of your screen
4. Book your slots away!

When are new slots released?

For new riders, like you, new sessions become available one week in advance and are released in the app every Monday at 15.00. For example, sessions released for booking on Monday 4th December would cover the week beginning Monday 11th December.

How can I change my current zone?

Once you’ve launched the rider app, on the top of your screen, you will see your current zone, click on that and you select another zone.
